Fresh Produce Group has a proud history of supporting a number of charities and programs which we believe do vital work in our community and show tremendous vision and humanity. We are committed to aiding their endeavours to raise funding and foster awareness around issues that resonate with our values.
Raise.
On-going financial commitment to Raise (previously Young Love) – a youth-mentoring foundation that does extraordinary work in supporting young people facing profound challenges in their lives, including mental health, substance abuse, and sexual health issues.
The Black Dog Institute.
Financial and active involvement with The Black Dog Institute and its programs. Black Dog is educational, research, clinical and community-oriented facility offering specialist expertise in depression and bipolar disorder.
Disaster relief.
Regular ad-hoc donations to disaster relief efforts, most recently the Brisbane floods.
Food donations.
FPG maintains a responsible approach to wastage including donations of surplus produce to food banks as well as provision of food to community events such as Whale Beach SLSC’s annual Big Swim.
2012 Antarctic Crossing trek.
Fresh Produce Group were proud to support the 2012 Antarctic Crossing trek organized by the Humpty Dumpty Foundation to raise money for children's health care.
