| Fuerte | Pear shaped variety with a green, thin skin and smooth surface that peels easily. Flesh has a buttery texture and great taste.Green when ripe. |

| Hass | Smallish with a pebbly skin which ripens to a purple/black colour. It contains a small stone and has a dense, nutty, fibre free flesh. Keeps well. |

| Shepard | Small-medium size fruit, green thick skin with a pebbly surface. Pear shaped, with a less pronounced nose. The fruit has an excellent flavour with medium oil content and has a unique distinction being the only avocado that does not turn brown when cut. |
