• Founder of Fresh Produce Group with over 30 years industry experience.

• Nugan family has an association with fresh produce going back 3 generations.

• Robert started working for the family business (Nugan Group, later to become Australasian International Brokers P/L (AIB) during his school holidays and throughout his tertiary studies. 

• After completing his Degree in International Economics, he commenced working full time in the family business.

• In 1991 Robert established and built FPG into one of Australia’s leading fresh produce businesses incorporating imports, exports, wholesale, domestic and logistic services.

• As Executive Chairman, Robert oversees the strategic direction for the Group with a particular focus on growth initiatives.

• Member of numerous citrus & table grape boards locally.

• Sitting member of PMA Global Development Committee.

• Sitting board member of PMA Australia/ NZ.
