Chief Financial Officer

As Chief Financial Officer, Mark Wilson takes a leading executive role in the performance management, financial planning and governance of the FPG group of companies.

After completing a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Queensland, Mark worked several years in banking before commencing a career in accounting and completing his chartered professional diploma in the UK. Mark then spent 6 years working with a leading international IT services company in the UK, climbing through the ranks to divisional financial controller.

Upon returning to Australia Mark took up a CFO position with a small public unlisted company and also completed his CPA qualification. After 4 years at the helm of that business, Mark joined a large Australian publicly listed group in the fresh produce industry. Initially he took a role as divisional financial controller before being promoted to Group Financial Controller after 18 months.

When Mark was invited to join FPG in December 2010 as CFO he couldn’t resist after witnessing the company's dynamism and proactivity in all its operations.

His experience and expertise in processes, systems, finance and management will aids FPG in implementing and maintaining a strong internal control culture and a forward-looking performance management framework that instils accountability and responsibility within the organisation.
